Mouse pointer difficult to see on laptop due to display limitations.
The LCD display typically provided with a laptop is not updating fast enough to display the pointer as it moves across the screen.
Enable 'Mouse Trails' in 'Control Panel' and/or increase the size of the pointer.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Mouse' icon. (The 'Mouse Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Motion' tab.
5) Do one or both of the following:
a) Select the 'Show pointer trails' check box.
b) Change the size of the pointer:
1] Click the 'Pointers' tab.
2] Select 'Windows Standard (extra large)' from the drop-down list box in the 'Scheme' group.
